Welcome: Dr. Rana Hossain and Dr. Achintya Lakshan

Dr. Rana Hossain and Dr. Achintya Lakshan joined our group. The project will focus on efficiently exploring new solid-state materials in the laboratory and with high-throughput synchrotron X-ray diffraction. The effort is a collaboration with Google DeepMind, which will lead the computation efforts that complement the experiments. This project will tackle the long-term challenge of how computational predictions can be realized experimentally. The primary target materials are new chlorides or others with other unique or excellent properties.
